Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomist II – Correctional Facility (Onsite) to support our client’s team in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, 13-week contract.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Phlebotomist II for a unique and highly secure assignment at a correctional facility in Denver, CO. This is not a traditional phlebotomy position. The selected candidate will perform intake blood draws on incarcerated individuals under strict supervision and security protocols.

This role is ideal for phlebotomists who are confident, highly professional, and can maintain a firm and respectful demeanor in sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws on male and female incarcerated individuals
• Follow strict correctional facility protocols with zero tolerance for policy violations
• Work closely with on-site supervisors and correctional officers
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries—no interaction or small talk with inmates
• Comply with safety standards, including color vision screening and required vaccinations
• Adhere to site-specific dress code and security protocols:
• No blue or red scrubs (due to gang affiliation concerns)
• Tattoos must be covered
• No cell phones or smartwatches allowed onsite

Skills & Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience with difficult blood draws ("hard sticks")
• Comfortable working within a correctional facility
• Willing to undergo immediate drug/alcohol testing if required by the facility

Additional Information:

• Location: Denver, CO
• Job Type: 13-wks contract
• Pay Range : $18 - $23 hourly
• Shifts: Week Days| 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
